Third year as a top 2% scientist
It’s the third year I find myself in Ioannidis’ list of top 2% scientists by year, and the second year that I find myself in the career-long list.
Of course, I’m glad to see that my efforts are appreciated and that my work is cited broadly.
However, I also know that lists are just lists and ranking are schmankings.
As I was trying to enjoy the news a bit, I was pulled out of my reveries by the alarm on my watch going off: time to pack up and go get my kid from school.
And that -the happy girl who comes running out of her music class- is worth more than anything in this world. It is the core of reality for me.
